Which one would you chose? I would pick among: What are your favorites?

Jurassic Park DTS
The first t-rex scene up through the jeep crashing down from the tree. Very aggressive with awesome bass.

Perhaps it is because it was one of the first LDs I got, but I always go back to Cop Land - the intro and opening music over the titles. I was just blown away with the clarity and depth.

Your in the war with a good sound system .... Good Call !!! I’m not sure if I’m right but wasn’t that the last major Paramount Pictures title to be THX DOLBY AC-3? Then it all came to a bitter end sigh. Just when I was getting into it and slowly into DVD hoping DVD would die LOL I was tempted to buying it, I laid off on the PAL laserdisc as I never quite liked the picture quality on PAL. Does the mix on the film do you think or have anyway to testing it to see if it goes lower than DVD which is about the same as Bluray it kinder stops around 30Hz for LCRS/LFE.1.

Good grief I have come to this thread a bit late! Time for some catch up....
Die Hard II: Die Harder. Great on AC3, but lethal on DTS!!! From the opening traffic horns, on to the planes swooping about, to the gun-fire in practically every other scene...not to mention the sub-kicking explosions, DH2 is a sonic thrill ride.
Die Hard With A Vengeance. And speaking of explosions, the film begins with the classics "Summer In The City" to establish how life is in this city is as it should be and... KABOOM!! John McTiernan sets that trap that you fall into so easily, then catches you off guard by assaulting your ears. Combined with weapons fire of all descriptions and from all directions, the DTS mix of this is equally dangerous.
OUTBREAK! Whilst this was not the very first film that I owned on LD in AC3 (That was 'Dead Presidents' a mean AC3 mix, all in its own right.) it was the very first one that I watched. Don't forget, I was someone who missed out on LD the first time around so I was well used to (not to mention very impressed with) how DD5.1 sounded on DVDs. I though that they were fantastic! Then I put on OUTBREAK! and the difference was obvious even to me, a self confessed DVD+DD5.1 fan. This film had no space battles, practically non-existent gunfire/explosions etc to compete with the major action titles as such, but the representation of the sound-field was just so open and broad. I could tell it was different straight away. It was better, more alive.
More to come.
