Greetings all and happy to be here. After several months of being patient for a good price on a local Laserdisc player, I stumbled upon a Pioneer CD 1070 and snatched it up. I know it's not the best player but for someone who's just getting in to it, it suits me well. Great condition, came with the remote and original manual. I mainly got it to watch older movies and actually enjoy the PQ as that's what I grew up on. One of these older movies that my wife and I enjoy is Casablanca and I know it has a Criterion treatment but I've seen 2 different ones and am wondering which one is the one to get, also I've seen a couple different North by Northwest ones as well, is the Criterion disc the one to get? For Casablanca, Criterion as usual first release the CAV edition with extras:

Try go get the Pioneer pressing for the CAV edition.
