i've never had any trouble with discs unless it was cracked, warped, but even then part of the disc would play.

Years ago a member elsewhere on another site sent me a load of Laserdiscs he didn't want an I still have them. One was Return of the Jedi part of all the STAR WARS CLV THX set
Starting out from the centre hole and only by several millimetres here's what it looks like.
This is program contended side 3 if the crack went over by another 10 or so millimetres I'd doubt it would be read by the laser.
Side 4 shows how bad it is this side won't play as the crack has gone over the non-program not sure of its blue screen with text or a Turtle on its back?
yeah I wrote them down so I could remember. I think I wrote a little few words on the back of it about the presentation.
