Most of the criterion stuff on eBay seems over priced with buy it now prices that are far higher than the discs sells for when at auction.
Is there any good uk online shops for criterion films. I’m not paying £25 for something like Dead Ringers when the last auction sold at £15.

Have you tried the marketplace here? Sometimes it's more, other times less and you can always try making offers.

I’ve had a brief look but there aren’t many uk sellers and the few I have seen are two to three times more expensive than they are actually selling for at auction. I guess it’s a case of waiting. I paid £30 for Boogie Nights, which is fine because it was a bid. So many people try they’re luck with insane buy it now. I guess they hope idiots like me will be too impatient and simply buy straight away :D

Not sure if a used record store in your neck of the woods would keep LD’s around but that’s where I procured some of my more reasonable offerings.

Just picked up a rot free copy of “The Fifth Element” last week for about $10 at Ameoba Records  .

Everything is shut due to covid but there are a few places I could try when restrictions lift.
