Decided to take a gamble and see if I could get this relatively cheap. I was the last bidder and it worked out! New Cliffhanger Squeeze LD for $36! Since its new is there anything I should tell the shipper on how to ship it other than use a cardboard box?

That was a deal. I've bought from that seller before, and their packaging is good. They have always used cardboard mailers and my one promo LD arrived perfect. Being it's sealed though they can't put the disc outside the jacket, so split seams can happen, but Japanese jackets are a little heavier cardboard which helps some.

I too was watching that one, but I was after the Squeeze version of Stargate which was also being sold by that seller. Got outbid at the last minute. Well done, certainly an excellent price!

And I would have liked the squeeze Cutthroat Island he had, but $100+ is too much for me.

I thought that was a cheap price, but I wasn't sure how much the other squeeze LDs go for. Seems like only T2 is consistently for sale. I've talked to him and he says he does use a cardboard box. He seems have lots of experience selling LDs too.

It was also on my watch list, but I wasn't near my PC and forgot about it. Congrats for the grab! I think it is a great price for it. Once I saw a Pal+ demo disc going for around 10 € here on the German Ebay. Missed that too

Couldn't get that damn cutthroat

I received the disc yesterday. It was in awesome condition. I was a little worried SAL mail might mess it up but it came perfect. I watched only a few minutes of movie. It looks 10 times better than other LDs on my HD Set since I don't have to zoom in. Its a shame the Japanese subtitles are burned into the picture, but you get used to it. The only thing I wish is that I had gotten a movie that was closer to 16:9.

Great price! I won "The Fugitive" last year for around $60 total. I've decided not to collect any more now that I have an example. (We'll see how long that lasts.)

Thanks for the heads up! It's based in the UK too, you don't see squeeze discs here too often which means I'm sure there'll be lots of competition for it.

Someone in this thread said the transfer for Hi-Vision disc was 10 times better then others in terms of quality. Would love to see some picture or videos of this disc in action. Post them here if you can.
