Can I just hook a player up to a tv? I have an LCD tv. Can I just hook a rca 100 to the back of the thing?

You can hook it up to your antenna input, then you have to set or select ANALOG channel 3 or 4 on your TV tuner. And make sure your CED player is set to that same channel on it's backside.

That is unless you have a cable box or something else already occupying the antenna input on your set. Also, since CEDs were in standard format except for a few, you'll have to use the sidebars to see things in proper size and symmetry.

If this is the first time you've operated the player, do things at a slower pace just to be sure you get it started and playing properly.

Let us know how it works out. Don't get disappointed if you have some sort of glitch or problem, just report it here.

The answer is yes! Back in 1982, there were no home theater systems, no VCRs (at least not very many ) When I brought my player home, I hooked it straight into the back of my TV! My stereo model had RCA out plugs too, so I used the 2 speakers I had to make the sound better. It is surprising what we used to think was "state of the art", I used to think , "this can't get any better!" Boy was I wrong.
