Good morning and happy Friday to everyone! I added another player to my video disc collection, this time it's a CED player Toshiba VP100. I had no problem replacing the two side belts however for the life of me I cannot see how to get down there and replace the main platter belt. Does anybody know how to get into this? I can't find anything on the internet other than a diagram of where the belts are located on the CED magic website but that doesn't really help me to take things apart to get to that area. Does anybody have any leads or any idea and I would really appreciate it very much! I hope you all have a fantastic day! And thanks again.

There is a CED forum, I believe its CED magic, haven't been or searched it for over a decade.
More info and users of the CED format, sorry that they aren't many if any on here.

Those are very, very easy players to get working, not the micro adjustments like LDs so you should be able to fix easily.

The flat turntable belt is no longer available so you need to perform the above pulley mod and then you can use a common round belt. Cedatum.com offers a grooved pulley exchange for these Toshiba players along with the necessary required belts.
