got as far as this so it must have been the transit screw which was never tighthent but now once I undid that I get the noise but the door doesn't open nor does eject work. At least my National DP-350 works even though that was listed as junk.

After talking to a friend I guess I am getting rid of it since I've had it since Lexington and there could be something more wrong with it since the eject doesn't work. I have the other one smaller one so I am fine.
