Hi all, Relatively new to the format and been having alot of fun learning about it. Recently picked up a Sharp VP-X10B and have been trying to figure out how you turn on the 3D function when playing 3D discs. Also wondering where or how the 3D LCD shutter glasses get plugged in. Possibly need a adapter of some sort? I have a Victor/JVC HD-9500 and watching in 3D is pretty straightforward, press in the 3D button on the face of the player and plug the glasses into the port on the front of the player and you’re off to the 3D races. Also have a National DP-300 which is also 3D compatible but wonder how you turn the function on and where to plug in the glasses on this player as well. Anyone out there have any knowledge regarding this? Thanks! |

I don't think many here on this forum have any VHD knowledge, disclord was the one but he's gone. So if and when you do figure it out please post the info for others in the future. Thx |

I have a Sharp VP-R70B that plays 3D discs in 2D, but doesn't seem to actually have a way of interfacing with glasses or playing them in 3D. |

From the description on the yellow RCA on the back it says it can be both Composite video output or 3D output control. There must be a way to watch video on UHF and control the 3D glasses with the RCA output? Assuming this is the right remote control, I do not see anything about 3D there: Sharp VP-X10B remote control Julien |

giannis-usa wrote: There are 3d adapter that you plug the player and have inputs for the glasses Aha….thanks for this information.Seems odd to me that on the face of the player they proudly display the 3D logo yet an adapter is required. Makes no sense to me. I can see using an adapter in a non 3D player obviously. |

I have a magazine article on the player and Random Access module you show from the February 1982 issue of Video Review magazine. Tried to post a picture but the file is to large and I don’t know how to reduce the file size. |
