I got my first player and trying to repair it but it spits out the disc when I put it in. it does not let go and the caddy and the gear that turns it gets stuck. Is there anyone that can tell me what is wrong? and how to fix it? Maybe try replacing belts or cleaning the gear or grease on it? Or just sell it as a parts machine? Like i was able to get it moving the worm gear by hand but it gets stuck. and it rejects the discs. Maybe the stylus got moved during the player repair? or a sensor issue if the ejecting the disc before it goes all the way? Or is that how bad discs are handled? also need to fix on the things that holds the disc in while inserting because I broke off when trying to get a caddie off.
