kinda beat up but oh well. the spines are different some have a color box on the corner which is even different for the exact same title California Girls. Anyone know why the spines are this way? |

Well VHD has LD beat on attractive/legible spines. |

I always thought the color-coding helped separate genres. Perhaps color coding changed over the years (like the VHD & Video Disc nomenclatures). Do both copies of California Girls have the same catalog number? forper wrote: Well VHD has LD beat on attractive/legible spines. Victor used some seriously nice dyes for the covers too. Some of the most sharp & vivid examples of cover art I've ever seen are on VHDs. |

according to the numbers they're exactly the same other than the color difference |
