I'm looking at completing the US HD DVD set, but I browsed over the most expensive sets, and boy, this seems slightly obnoxious in pricing.
Anyone know the story behind this set, and why the lowest price I can acquire it for is easily 170 dollars on Ebay? I'm curious as to why it fell into obscurity so quickly. It just baffles me.

The boxset was put on sale and then quickly recalled for technical reasons.
