I'm looking at completing the US HD DVD set, but I browsed over the most expensive sets, and boy, this seems slightly obnoxious in pricing. Anyone know the story behind this set, and why the lowest price I can acquire it for is easily 170 dollars on Ebay? I'm curious as to why it fell into obscurity so quickly. It just baffles me. |

The boxset was put on sale and then quickly recalled for technical reasons. http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/1084 It was then never issued again on HDDVD. Julien |
