substance wrote: I have like 20 blanks and the latest gen hddvd burner (912 something with 2x speed)I hope the discs arent defective. They are only 15gb. They never sold dual layer blanks. I have some movies I recorded of tv in 1080i with dd5.1 like buckaroo banzai. I captured them bit to bit via tivo. I might burn one but havent decided what movie. I want something that will not make it to bd. I got 14 Verbatim 30 GB DL blanks. I think they were the only ones to make it to market, a few others were in development, not sure if they were actually sold. Working on a HD DVD project right now but running into trouble getting the disc to write. Trying out some different software, maybe I'll get somewhere with it. |

my dvd of Twister has a dialnorm value of +4DB, so it'd be a little higher than "8", on a Standard Dolby Processor. i think they recorded it too high |

Twister includes the only non–Van Halen song ever featuring Alex Van Halen - the instrumental track "Respect the Wind". Alex always played the drums in Van Halen but on this occasion he plays keyboard while Eddie Van Halen plays guitar. The song plays during the end credits of the movie. |
