Post subject:  Booster for Toshiba H1D1

Hi I have an old H1D1 (I think thats what it is..big heavy beastie) and it has NO power when it comes to hooking it up to ANY of my HDTV's, so my bet is that it isn't very powerful as far as pushing that signal (and I can't even think about putting it onto a projector..wont push past a 10 foot HDMI cable).

Have any of you had that problem and how did you get it solved..if solved..

On my HD A20 the problem isn't really a problem--it won't push for a long long HDMI cable (say like 30 feet) as my Sony 3D bluray does, however it will go thru a 12 foot cable with very little loss to the projector (BenQ W1070).

I am planning on setting the H1D1 with my Vizio...but that thing only has 2 HD inputs and so I have a five way switch for it as well, although I could put it on one single I guess. Let me know what you all think I should try.

I haven't faced that directly, but I would put an HDMI splitter in the middle. Some of them also have other benefits. :)

OK, now that you say that...I remembered something--before I put my W1070 as the main video in that basement, I put a splitter to the HD DVD and hooked one half to the Panasonic 1080i and the other went to the projector...and I got signal there..which makes me think why did I forget that worked when I re-arranged?? hmm..getting OLD.
