Here's why:

To keep spending the rest of the year in Tokyo (new employee to train at work), I made a quick trip to France to see my family and visit the company HQ.

Of course, even though I was washing hands, wearing masks and 3x vaccinated, I caught Covid -- probably on the train.

7-days confined in a hotel room then back with family waiting for a negative PCR test to be allowed to enter Japan again.
Return date had to shift by 11 days.

I'm now back and soon in full LDDb admin mode.

I see tons of covers waiting to be added, finishing enabling collection/wishlist for hardware, completing all the visual stats with the new JS lib (and dropping the old one for good) and then... moving to PHP 7/8 to upgrade the server to Debian 11.

I'm absolutely disgusted and livid with you. How dare you put your own health, safety, family and wellbeing first!

In France, as punishment, I heard the judicial system recommends a life sentence of watching nothing but SECAM VHS tapes.

I'm pretty sure the Geneva convention or something has rules against cruel and unusual punishment.

Punishment might be a case of PAL50 when you watch NTSC in B&W !!

Glad the illness is behind you !
Reccomend lots of Vitamin D3, 30mg or less zinc daily, and lots of liposomal vitamin C for recovery and prophylaxis!
Stay Healthy sir !

On a side note, highly recommend visiting an apiary if you have one nearby. If they sell their wares you can usually pick up a jar of honey (that's not been blended to death, honestly, look at the small print on the side of the next jar/bottle of honey you buy and see how many are 'a blend of EU/Non-EU honeys' aka fake, it's nearly all of them).

Get a jar of honey with propolis in it from your local apiary. Great for coughs, chest infections and so on. All natural, straight from the bee to you. Don't buy honey from a store, it's usually blended crap apart from genuine Manuka. Always look at the small print, if it mentions 'blended' 'a blend' etc on it, put it back on the shelf, or in the bin.
