Hello!

It was fun to program but really never got any traction...

I'm talking about box on the right side of each title:

Your ratings
Picture * * * * *
Sound * * * * *
Package * * * * *

It was supposed to build a summary, release by release, but it's rare any of them got more than 2 ratings, which makes them statistically pointless.

Ex: Tron (1982) [6141 CS]
Picture (6)
100.0%
Sound (5)
100.0%
Package (7)
100.0%

Would it be OK to completely remove the ratings?
I don't think they would be missed much...

Julien

I didn't even know this existed lol. In theory it's cool but if no one used it then yeah just bin it.

I knew of it and started at one time but then took my ratings off, its just not worth it. Even the condition of discs in your collection, I took that one off too.
Just a waste for media format where condition doesn't matter yet. Thankfully.....

I didn’t know this feature existed or else I would have used it. Everyone wants to know “Is [specific title] a good/bad LD?”

The User Ratings were completely removed from the code/database today.

I think nearly nobody will notice it... and they won't be missed :-)

The only thing I would miss it for is that I could see if a certain disc is already in my collection...

Maybe use that space to put a badge or something so you can simply see you already own that disc?

Right under the "Add to Collection" button is a direct link with the # of copies you have, ex: 2 already added
