Step one - Admit you have a problem
Step two - Indulge your problem.

Hi
My name is Chris. My wife and I have been collecting laserdiscs since 1990. We bought our first player in 1990 from Montgomery Wards. They were having a clearance of some machines and one of the LD players was 1/2 off 1000 dollars. It was another 1/2 off that and then another 70 percent off that price. We got a last years model for dirt cheap. What we didnt realize it was a very bad deal. From then on we only bought discs that we thought were so good we would watch them over and over. Then Suncoast came along and it all went down hill from there. We would go every week and look for stuff. I can remember trying to find Flash Gordon because it was rare. We bought South Park new from there as well. Since 2000 it has just gotten worse. If I could use them as cash I would. I will trade you this rare copy of Blood and Donuts for 12 donuts and a cup of coffee! Lol

I've a batch of Montgomery Wards in store promotional laserdiscs.
They featured ads, film trailers and full uncut music videos which tended to be very obscure. I bought them really just for the music videos.
I've got the laserdisc versions from 1996 - 1998 and also some of the later ones from 1998 onwards that were only issued on DVD.
