It's funny van-dammage created this thread asking if people were mentally ill. I do not understand why van-dammage would change alias all the time, the way the posts were written you could easily know that it was him/her. That user was like a running fugitive. Is there any restrictions on how many times within a year you can change alias? - I mean, we have all become a family here, so to say. We don't have to "hide" from each other. Being here for four years and asking the same questions over and over and requesting confirmity of uncut vs. cut editions, must be pretty lame. Seems like van-dammage only cared about making posts to achive higher ranking and in my opinion some of the posts were written in an offending way with a lack of respect. As for Laserbite and his health, I do believe that side effects of medication can alter the personality in a negative way over time, and being self observant about it might not be easy. I hope for him that he eventually comes back, as he earlier had a good sense of humour to offer. |

Looks like he was back under 4 different usernames (same IP address in the UK) as dinnerthere and galecookgirl and realale and stakemeal, only posting insults in LD updates. I blocked permanently the IP address as well. He really needs to get medical/mental assistance  Julien |

I did see part of his THX meltdown video on youtube.... Come on Andy don't let them push you over the edge, there are still some good things in life to look forward to like your Sooty and Magic.

Had hoped that he could have worked things out with Admin and walked the line a bit. Looking like this will not be the case anytime soon. Sadly it very well could be medicine related. Or not ....... Getting older is not easy on a good day, let alone with medical / health problems to spice up survival long term. Heart goes out to laserbite34 and his mate Sooty. Many, many good laughs due to that blokes sense of humor. I could bust a gut remembering a number of his posts........ Geez ..... The Limey has really gone off the deep end ...... Very sad to read that report. Guess he is not much into making amends for his waywardness. I support whatever the Admin decides in this matter. We make our own beds ! |

I was rather shocked by it, and intended to bring it to your attention, but then I noticed it was gone. Apparently you were already all over it.  I didn't realize that it was actually from him. So sad to hear of a fellow collector who is going through such a troubling time in his life. Let's all keep Andy in our thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks and months. Hopefully he will be able to conquer whatever demons he is fighting, and make a full recovery to health. David |

He tried once or twice to create new bogus accounts with insulting email adresses and addresses to come post on the forum. Also had to remove posts and delete/block accounts :-/ Julien |

I had found some videos of his on youtube but he seems to have lost it. Ranting about these poor mixes on bluray but yet he keeps buying them to compare and also ranting about other stuff. I saw one of this videos of his cat and tried to send a message but his response was again rants that were unbearable. Sad as he had a lot of knowledge but....... |

Anger and resentment are very much like a deep well. No obvious limit to how deep it goes until you strike the bottom. Perhaps medication side effects plays a role, or even dementia creeping in. He could have repaired his bridge with the admin by contrite steps within reason. Instead he went the opposite direction. We make our own bed, (or not) and then we get to sleep in it. I for one, do miss his humor. And I miss the pics of his feline companion Mr. Sooty. If you are ever able to read this laser bite34, miss you mate ! Cheers |

Some people are just triggered by a ban and then become alt account pests, and yeah the alt names seem crazy but it's just rage. I've been staff on several sites so I've seen it a lot over the years. |
