The video and sound quality will get worse and worse towards the end until it will start skipping and stoping abruptly. This happens on every disc almost. I tried cleaning the discs. I tried cleaning the laser. Nothing helped. (spam links removed, account deleted, keeping this one as an example). Julien |

New user, no posts, no specifically LD related question, has a username that is one word (sometimes a town) followed by a single digit...it’s spam, guys. |

Lucky for us the bot creating the account isn't very smart (although coming from a different IP each time). Fake accounts (but real email addresses): Code: Select all +--------------+Also created 2 accounts at the same time, posted one message each never replied to my messages: Code: Select all +-----------------+They're all scheduled to be deleted if no more life sign. Feel free to flag new/suspicious ones. Julien |

All UK towns? Almost sounds like It’s Grim Up North. |

Turns out I can keep new accounts in the "Newly Registered Users" and assign specific constraints (no link, no signature, etc.) until you reach X number of posts. Let's set it to 3 as a test. Initially I had set up a specific "Spam" user group but these bots never come back again, I'll delete them as well: Code: Select all +------------------+Julien |

Can you restrict "Newly Registered Users" group to just General Discussions>Presentation Thread...or maybe even just General Discussions sub-forum for their first post/thread? |

Maybe but I don't want to make it TOO hard to show good face. Let's try with the 3-post limit first. Julien |

Just find out what country the spammers are from since they're presumably not bots if they can get past a captcha. Like if they're from England, have them tick a box that says "agree" on "Poland is greater than Great Britain" or something |
