I know that no company at all actually support any real ideology. But the fact is that the trending movements these days are feminsm/sjw/lgbtqalphatango and all the other degeneracy that this world as crumbled to. And Disney, by not wanting to be politically incorrect with the fear of not earning potential money, are pushing this agenda, just see all their marvel/star wars, etc... they all have somthing that is in adequation with those movement, "put an incompetant woman with colored hair as a starship commander here" "here, make a movie only about black heroes" "oh and don't forget to make this character gay or queer, or cast a queer actoressess". Even if it's just for money, they are pushing it, and there is some semblance of it in toy story 4.

I genuinely can’t tell if this is a joke. If it’s a joke then it’s pretty funny but if it’s not then...I think we need a new sub forum for all the submentals.. Un-ban TrippleTopper and and make it so they can only see HIS posts until they have completed a reading assignment and passed a quiz.

This month, Tess of the D'Urbervilles.

I disagree. Any company as big as Disney will support anything that makes them grow and suppress anything that doesn’t. That’s why American movies are being censored for China now. Not just doctored and edited but written to appease The Party to begin with. That’s how much they care about human rights, they actually cooperate with those that campaign against human rights. Even as a macho bro jackoff you should see through their fake-ass values and be more pissed off that are trading on it than anything. After all, part of what they trade on is your meme generated reaction. Your post is free fake Feminist advertising for Disney. It’s a false dichotomy. In crappy kids cartoons with a “4” in the name even. Every layer of it is crass and fake, but you were happy to jump right into it. You paid money to see a movie with a 4 in it and then in your negative review made a liberal hero out of the script. Right on schedule.

“COME SEE TOY STORY! The movie loathed by incels everywhere!” (tm)

Every class president in the county is going to want to see this!

I really enjoy your posts man !

No joke for the record, although the forced ALTRUISM comment is a bad reference to the third reich in poor taste humor.......
Signofzeta have you seen the recent Gillette ads ?

That's basically what I meant by what I said, they don't give any f**k to any cause unless there is money they can milk on it.

How is my post where I basically s**t over the movie, and tell it's filled with crap propaganda an advertising, I mean if you want to see it after what I said, you got a serious problem indeed.
Also I didn't paid any money to see it, I only lost time on this movie (and also "arguing" with you)

Toy Story, a crappy kid cartoon ? ok, then...

I don't despise woman alright, despite what you seem to believe, "macho bro jackoff", "incels" (wow, they really like using this one to describe any un-supportive person of this kind of movement), so in any case, thanks for the free insults, and thanks for showing us your true self.
Now it's time for this to end.

There's no press reporting any sort of reality anymore. They don't even report what the readers want to hear, they just report what the studios and networks wants the audiences to hear. They use the narrative pushed by twittards and tumblrinas to their advantage to silence opposition because everyone is so judgmental and everyone is scared to death of becoming the target of the cancel culture that they won't speak against any of it. They manipulate the media, they manipulate the critics, but when the audiences refuse to play along, they're accused of "review bombing" the product.

Anyway, it being Halloween, I watched Halloween and Halloween 2. If somebody hadn't pointed it out to me, I'd never realized that the guy who dies in the car crash in 2 is the guy who Laurie mentions as having a crush on in the first. It's one of those throwaway details (since he's never seen in the first one, just named a couple of times), I'd just completely forget by the time of the sequel. Kinda like when C-3PO says he's not much of a storyteller in ANH, but then ends up being a storyteller for the Ewoks in ROTJ.

That's true.

I do remember one quote from Orson Welles in short feature from '53 (Return to Glennascaul) at the start where he meets a guy at the side of a road beside his broken down car.....

Welles - What happened to your car?
Man by car - I've had trouble with the distributor. I say, aren't you.....?
Welles - Yes I am & I have had trouble with my distributor too.

Pure class.

Orson Wells could really...talk. He just ruled at it. F for Fake is my favorite. He talks a lot in that one.

8-) Julien. I'm just getting unpacked from my move now, my life is totally SNAFU, last week Murphy high kicked me in the head a couple times too but then I had my boot on his neck by the end of the week. By the end of next week I should be hooking up my stuff again, opening my boxes of LDs and going crazy! Mine have been packed for almost 2 months.

Saw a double feature of Terminator/Terminator 2 at the Australian Film and Sound Archive. Terminator was an original 35mm print owned by the archive, quite damaged in places and I could hear the mellenials in the audience moaning about it "too much grain" they said. If only they knew the difference between grain and damage..

Last time I saw these woulda been mid 90s on TV. I had rented Terminator before and saw T2 at the cinema in '91.

Anyway back to back was really interesting. Turns out except for the classic chase sequences I don't really care for Terminator 2 and I'm going to take it off my LDDB wishlist. The comedy moments are too much. The bit behind the arcade where you think Arnie is going to kill the kid but he ends up saving him is only good the first time you see it, I remember it being a real surprising twist at the time.

The first film I forgot how much I love. I love it more now? So much grittier and cooler. What's the best LD to have of it I wonder..?

Forper I would go for the Japanese box of T2 with like 30min of extra footage.
There is a also a Pioneer US special edition issued as well. [PSE-82997-6WS]
CHECK IT MAN !

I believe both have same content.
The extra footage really augments the story.
One of my son's all time favorite ! (Besides his A#1 Starship Troopers ! )

Just viewed RUSSIA HOUSE .......
Spy movie circa 1991 with Sean Connery, Michelle Pfeifer, and many other stars.....
Top notch well done movie fyi .....

Cheers ...

Good day everyone,

I have just been reading some of the posts under this topic......I had the odd Giggle about the Gillette adds altruism and so forth

I paused before posting this reply, only because I wasn't sure if this was just for LD viewing or for any other disc or tape video format.

Due to my long working hours and shifts, my viewing of late has been sparse even slight not sadly though, as I feel that the older I get I am getting rather choosy about what I watch or willing to purchase.

My last Movie I watched at the Cinema from the most recent: TERMINATOR DARK FATE = Glad to have seen it, but due to the rather rushed and thin story line I shall not be purchasing this.

Before the above, a few months ago I went to see Spiderman Far From Home, now this I liked very much, and had his 4K Blu-Ray disk imported from the USA, this was a fine viewing experience, including the longer end credit surprise and how expansive the MC universe is going to grow.

On disc: JUPITER ASSENDING 4K / Monday 11th of Nov: 4K GHOST IN THE SHELL live action movie and then SUPER 8.

I sincerely hope that you are all well and please take good care of yourselves

Kindest Regards
