Well, I just got them. The back of the obi's on Shock Wave and Surf Hits are blank. The back of Indoo-Express-Surfing obi lists 3 Surf titles. Just Surfing and Gone Surfin', those are on the list. Third one is new to the list:

Hi, just wondering if you’ve had these digitised yet. Super keen on a few of them if so.

Also keen on a digital copy of Wet Lips too. I have managed to source the VHS version and digitised it but would love a LD version for better quality.

Only Two Surf LDs have been digitized. Rolling Thunder and Follow the Sun. RT's Soundtrack was so intense I had to buy the CD's that the tracks were taken from. Upscaled footage is DVD like quality. That Red/Green video noise is gone. Haven't watched FtS yet...

Very cool. Thanks for doing that and preserving those ones at least. Would you be willing to share the files with me. Really keen to see Follow The Sun as everywhere I look I can only find Part 2.

There's a copy of Follow the Sun on Ebay. I can't find Follow the Sun 2, anywhere. Also Big Wave, Blazing Boards and Rolling Thunder are there too. As of last Sunday.

Is it a Laserdisc copy? I don’t actually have a laserdisc player… my hunt for surf films brought me here. I’m also in the UK so depending on how the eBay seller has listed it I might not find it. Can you share a link if it’s not too much trouble please.

Wow, another Japanese Surfing LD and not on the list, too. I couldn't find it in the Database. When I got it, all it said on the disc lable was:

"Menlinda Caroll and Others"

Then I found it in the Database:

Melinda Caroll and Others: Banzai! (1988) [MJL-1023]

That looks amazing. I’ve never heard of it and I pretty much have the largest collection of surf films in the world. Have you played it? Is it a drama film or a film with surfing? And any chance you’re going to digitise it? Would love a copy if possible please.
