How well does it sound when you open the box?
It is apparently barking.
But I do not have.

hi,
thanks, it still barks.
the sound is the gamera roar, it is light activated, so when you open it makes the noise.
unfortunatly the picture is not of the inside. but i do have the keychain.

i made a video of the roar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hllNyfko ... teM77KE6I=

I've never seen a Japanese LD Box that didn't have inner sleeves. The only LD I have like that is Aliens: Special Edition (1986) (Uncut) [1504-85]. Being 4 discs in cheapo plastic sleeves, it just feels like they just threw all the stuff in a box. Kind of lame for $100, IMO.

They do exist, some examples:

Vertigo (1958) [PILF-2532]
Thing, The (1982) [PILF-2717]
