VIDEO SEARCH OF MIAMI
"The Phantom of the Movies' Videoscope Magazine" in their latest issue reviewed "Side by Side," an obscure British Musical Comedy from circa 1975. Featured in the cast is the late Terry-Thomas. It's a good thing that I already purchased this on DVD-R from VSoM, because their website has been down for quite some time, and they aren't aren't answering questions on their Facebook page. There seems to be conflicting info on the internet. Some sources state that VSoM went bankrupt, some say they were sued to cease operation. Anyone here know their fate?

DIGIVIEW ENTERTAINMENT/DIGIVIEW PRODUCTIONS
I've been trying to build a complete collection of DVDs released by Digiview. The worldwide online database for DVDs and Blu Rays, DVD Aficionado, currently list 331 releases from Digiview (I have about 200). But there are many titles that I own that aren't in the DVDAF database (many I can't submit because I can't find images of the covers of high enough quality to submit). The most recent Digiview release that I can find on DVDAF was released in 2008. Some sites say they went under, while another states that in 2011 they left the Public Domain realm and are releasing titles that they have liscensed, mainly from York Entertainment. York is hard for me to track because they seem to have self-published some of their titles, while others have been published by Broadpoint, and others by PC Teasures. Is Digiview still around?

SINISTER CINEMA
Ok, I KNOW that they are still around because I buy releases from them all the time. But recently one of the administrators at DVDAF told me that Sinister Cinema is not totally legit. I doubt this for a number of reasons. They use a watermark 'SC,' on their titles because (as Sinister Cinema owner Greg Luce) put it many companies of PD titles are buying DVD-R releases from Sinister Cinema and are using the copy they make as THEIR video master. He mentioned in last year's SC catalog that one company (he didn't specify which) has released HUNDREDS of titles that contain the 'SC' watermark.

Some companies that are totaly legit license Sinister Cinema's masters for their releases. Such companies include Shout! Factory and Retromedia. Other companies buy videos from SC in bulk (under license) to release themselves, such as Movies Unlimited and Filmfax. Speaking of Filmax their recent issue features an informative interview with Greg Luce, going into how the company started, etc.

I was curious if anyone here has seen the 'SC' watermark, and on what labels' releases?
