My memories are kind of shot. Ordinarily I think memories of alternate versions are me being paranoid or brain damaged. But I'm sure there is a very different version of The Last American Virgin.

The cover are they use on Blu ray matches the laserdisc! How flattering. This movie is not currently available here. Anyone seen it on laserdisc. The movie is on Youtube for free to compare.

Actually, I'm certain this movie was sabotaged.

Another movie that I want to check the laserdisc version out is Yellow Submarine. I don't think it was sabotaged, I think there is a version where they were on a mission to make a change to the music industry that has never come about. I think they actually used the words "audio fidelity" in one version that I saw. They wanted to make the audio fidelity of concert videos higher than a studio album.

I don't think its sabotage, I think Hollywood genuinely got tired of the debate.

I barely remember a single thing about Last American Virgin but literally EVERYTHING the Beatles did is massively over analyzed so every version of Yellow Submarine will be documented some place on the internet. If it exists you can find it.

Making concert recordings sound like studio recordings is more or less impossible unless maybe both used a single mic, which is rare in any studio recording.
