I chose 2 Moores they came out in my era & except for Never Say Never Again i wasnt able to see any of Connerys in the movie theatre. I believe Spy Who Loved Me was the first one i saw on a big screen. I do enjoy Goldfinger i even remember when network tv edited out when Goldfinger got sucked out the plane.

it's hard for me to say, i love the connery films and think he was the best.
but after reading about 4 books so far i have to say that the best going by the novels would be
on her majesty's secret service.

lazenby really wasted a chance at being a really good bond after connery.
some of the fight scenes were just as violent as in the books, diamonds are forever and live and let die.

he just had that rough face that you could just imagine a large scar on his face.
BUT telly savalas was not believable as blofeld.

so i would have to say in order:
1- Goldfinger
2- Dr. No
3- Thunderball

I rather enjoyed OHMSS on DVD that scene at the start where blofeld says:If my demands are not met I shall proceed with the systematic extinction of whole species of serials and life stocks all over the world.

The John Barry score as gritty bite to opening nice deep bass line that presses on the body.

I got to be honest, I haven't seen those movies in many years but from what I remember, I appreciated From Russia With Love and Thunderball the most. Dr. No is good as well. I can't stand the ones with Brosnan or Craig however, I don't think any of the Bond-movies from the last 17 years have been good.

If I had to do only three, it would probably look like this:

dr.no (the FIRST one), octopussy and live and let die. heck, i like all the old ones.

I like Spy Who Loved Me the best, but I sort of like them all. The Timothy Dalton ones not as much and the new ones with Craig suck. They've taken out all the great things about Bond that made it a Bond film. Daniel Craig just doesn't fit either. I always thought Clive Owen would make a much better Bond. The only thing good about the new ones is they finally went back to British Bond cars, the only thing I didn't like about the Brosnan films.

My 1 choice is also Spy Who Loved Me to me that had everything in it & Octopussy as no.2 i dont think the Bond women of today can top those of the past. The new ones look too computer generated for effects that ruin it for me.

i agree, the original movies are the best.
