This is too tough! Just ONE favorite episode? I love so many! I'll give it a try, though...
Most Favorite: Mirror Image -- I love the moody, creepy episodes; the ones that feel like a nightmare slowly unwinding.
But it could just as easily have been: The After Hours, Death Ship (the best of the hour long episodes), Five Characters in Search of an Exit, A Game of Pool, The Hitch-Hiker, The Howling Man, A Hundred Yards Over the Rim, In Praise of Pip, The Invaders, It's a Good Life, King Nine Will Not Return, Little Girl Lost, Living Doll, The Lonely, Mr. Denton on Doomsday, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, Number 12 Looks Just Like You, A Passage for Trumpet, A Penny For Your Thoughts, Spur of the Moment, A Stop at Willoughby, Time Enough at Last, or Walking Distance. (Walking Distance used to be my favorite, until I listened to the audio commentary and heard Rod Serling point out all the flaws in the script. Now I can't look at it the same.) Also, I like Deaths-Head Revisited!
Least Favorite: Black Leather Jackets -- incredibly silly and dumb for the Twilight Zone. (Come Wander With Me is a close runner up. It's really boring.)

I like the hitchhiker because I had a crush on Inger Stevens all the way back to when I as a kid. A stop at willuoghby is also quite good. One of the local cable channels runs it every night at 11:00 and I'm usually up to watch it (though I've seen them so many times). Fortunately my wife is asleep by then. She doesn't like that kind of stuff

My least favorite one was I think the doll one, where the people are dolls? Nick of Time is your favorite. As for your least, could it be Five Characters in Search of an Exit? It's the one with the Army major, clown, hobo, ballet dancer, and bagpiper in a giant cylinder with no memory of who they are or how they got there.

the one that would scare the $h!t out of me when i was a kid was the episode with the dancer girl and room for one more honey at the end she was going on the plane and it was the same woman saying room for one more honey, she ran and the plane blew up in the air there were lots that are great but that's the one to stick in my head as my favorite. least? i can't really think of which one, possibly the one with the boy and girl who swim underwater in the pool to see that old grandma woman? or the one with the rockabilly guy looking for a song and found the girl in the woods and it was about him. i always wanted to get the series but i have seen all of them too many times and can't justify spending the money

OK, the one with the ballet dancer, clown, soldier was awful! It was on the other night as a tribute to the passing of the actor who played the soldier. I found it stupid and boring. I have to agree, it sucked

Plus, it had the same concept as Toy Story (that the toys behave as if they are living beings) decades before that movie saw the light of day.

That story is actually much older than the Twilight Zone version. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty_Two_%28The_Twilight_Zone%29Your least favorite episodes are The Bewitchin' Pool and Come Wander With Me, respectively. Earl Hamner, Jr. (who wrote The Bewitchin' Pool) was responsible for some of the weaker scripts during the last season of the show.

I find myself watching a Stop at Willoughby every time it is shown along with Twenty Two. Some others are too slow for me like where Burgess Meredith is on trial nothing happens in it.
