okay, i know that MOST of movies released by Carolco Pictures, from 1985-1993 do NOT have the Tri-star Pictures logo before theirs, yet but at the very end, it shows "a tri-star release". however, in canada.... Carolco's movies were Distributed thru "Columbia Tri-star Pictures of Canada" thus the logo showed up before carolco's did. however, the 2001 special edition dvd of "Total Recall" has the Tri-star Pictures logo before the carolco logo, but do any other laserdiscs pressed in north america or japan feature this combo? |

i heard about the failures, but nearly all of my carolco vhs tapes DO NOT have the tristar logo at the start. |

i just picked up the THX total recall for a buck  always wanted it but didn't want to spend the money, local goodwill had it

Bluray UK first release pressing though studio canal / optimum release  h   Region 2 DVD released though momentum pictures / studio canal / kinowelt  THX Laserdisc released though Carlco home video / Live home video

My open-matte LD of Total Recall (ID7779IV) doesn't have the Tristar Pictures logo... ...but the recent Mind-Bending edition Blu-ray does. (alongside the 2011 StudioCanal logo) |
