Post subject:  Conquest (1983) [G88F0125] JAPAN LD - ROTTED ?
Does anyone got a rot-free copy or is it such a bad pressing so all got rot ? 3 reports on lddb and mine was also rotted....

are both sides rotted? you may have to get multiple copies and have a good set of sides.

Hello johan184,

I have heard horrible things :evil: about this title. That's why I don't have it in my collection. Some time ago, Nicolas Santini (n$a) had a copy of it for sale, but it was factory sealed, and he didn't want to open it. He also wanted major bucks for it. As a result, I didn't pursue buying it. I didn't think it was "worth the risk" involved, considering the horror stories I have heard about it. I just couldn't see paying a 3-figure price for such a notorious "problem title". Good luck to you in finding a decent copy of this one.

hehe thats becouse he knows it to =) should it be included in the collection even of the rot if 99,9% of all copies is rotted, thats the question.

if one collector got an unrotted copy then he would continue looking for a good copy.

I'll check my copy when I get home. Last I saw, it didn't have any rot, but I only watched most of side 1.

Side 1 is fine, Side 2 rather rotted unfortunately.

Oh well . . . only paid $5 for mine, so I can't complain!

I never saw mint marks like that in my life. I wonder who made it.

"Area 88: Act 1 & 2" (1985) K28L-1000~1 is like that. Side 1 is clear. Side 2 has alot of video noise. Made by Pioneer Japan.
