Well I finally found the Spiritual Earth.......Earth - Astronaut's Eyes I was looking for. I will send Julien a cover pic soon as it arrives.

Spiritual Earth: Earth - Astronaut's Eyes (1996) [PILW-1230]

So I will have 3 of the Spiritual Earth series, and I only need the last one.

Plain and simple, DAWN OF THE DEAD (#LDDB=12917X). It´s a Disc that is even more rare than THE CONCLUSION Boxset. Living in Europe doesn´t make this easier, it´s a banned movie in Germany. :(

Can you link to the LDDb entry for that? I don't see that reference number anywhere.

The Man with the golden gun HK

http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/46279/ERA ... -The-(1974)

The interesting fact about HK editions of Bond movies is that they were latest Bond editions (1996) on a Laserdisc. USA saw only Dr.NO, FRWL,GF, TB, TSWLM, MR in WS. All HK are P&S but they are well remastered. I owned some of them then on PAL VHS from UK. They were out to support Goldeneye in cinemas worldwide.

It's SF098-0076, the Japanese release.

Indeed. If this LDDb listing is correct, this Dawn of the Dead release is probably the most rare LD release of the movie . . .

Zombie - Dawn of the dead (1978) [NF 20303-LD]

Thx for the link, but well, my japanese a little rusty ;-)
I have all releases of DOTD (including the one you mentioned)...it seems that this one is easier to get here in Germany than the one I´m looking for. THE CONCLUSION Boxset is pretty rare too, I was lucky to get it for about 45 € *:-)*, people ask some real money for this one. Well, the one I´m looking for is the Laserdisc which is missing in my DOTD collection...

One classic movie I really wondered was "Around the world in 80 days". How could there only be a P&S version of this movie during the whole time of Laserdisc? I missed a letterbox version very painfully, but it never came. I had to wait until the DVD in this case... :(

There is existenz on ebay for .99 starting bid. It has rips on top and one side thats why i skip but someone who doesnt care can grab this cheap. Its a late release and a david cronenberg film often sell for $300.

This is the same seller who listed both Existenz and Wild Wild West before.
They were won before and then he lists again. I smell a rat.

Maybe the dude who won it returned it because it had those nasty rips on spine and top. I know if the winner doesnt pay up you can offer it to the second highest bidder. Interesting.

I want a copy some day. I found a very clean one as low as $200 shipped. I am not ready to spend that on a single disc yet. I bought all expensive discs this year, I will buy some $5-30 discs for a while. Once I am all set with less expensive onces, I will work on expensive discs on my wish list which are not very many.

Well that Ebay seller (kahoney2011) who is also a member of this forum (davida) and has a shop here http://www.lddb.com/shops/davida/ just did the same thing again.....he didn't post an item that he sold on Ebay. He also didn't given any reason. That is how this guy works. If he doesn't get the price he wants he just issues a refund and then relists the same item again and again.

Just to recap this seller listed and sold Wild Wild West & Exiztenz LDs in April on Ebay. Both are quite valuable as they are late US releases.
He didn't honour either transaction first time around and relisted them again on Ebay about a month later for sale again.

Both sold again in May for a fraction of what they had originally got first time around (which is really funny) so I am guessing the greedy seller was very disappointed and decided he wouldn't bother sending them and would try his luck relisting them again at some point in the future. I mean it has worked for him before and Ebay did nothing, so he will likely try again.

Checkout the feedback from the guy who won Existenz the second time around and DIDN'T get shipped it either:
"Refunded my money 8 days later with no comment. 2nd time done that w/same item"
http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI ... back&rt=nc

I advocate that user 'davida' should be blocked from this forum both as a member and particularly as a seller as he has proven himself to be totally untrustworthy.

Wow, that is pretty awful thing to do. Basically he is just wasting peoples time by doing that. You should contact Julien to let him know as we don't want people like him part of this honest community.

Sorry guys but you are mistaken.

The first sale in April to laserdisc_king, he insisted I pack them together and give a shipping discount. I explained to him that I don't offer that, particularly on rare titles because I feel the separate shipping boxes are safer and there is less change of damage to two rare discs. He responded with a profanity filled message and I reported him to ebay. I chose to cancel that transaction, yes. I don't conduct business with people acting like children. Obviously at that point I was worried about retaliation and him saying they arrived damaged or trying other games.

My last sale of existenz, I informed the seller there would be a delay in shipment due to a personal issue on my end. He asked for a refund. Clearly he was upset because he posted a lie in his feedback. I can't control what people post.

My last sale of Wild Wild West sold for $6.00 and I am shipping it on Tuesday morning. I also informed the buyer of the delay and he was fine with it. So expect positive feedback on that one. Kind of shoots down your theory, huh? $6.00 and I *gasp* honored the transaction?

FYI I have multiple copies of some of these discs. I have sealed copies of Wild Wild West and will be putting up another auction for a sealed one.

If your theory about me canceling transactions is true, you realize I'm still paying ~10% in ebay final auction fees, right? So do cancel the first existenz sale and lose $15, and then the second one and lose $6, well, how much am I going to have to sell it for to cover those first two losses?

I appreciate your concern but I'm an honest seller. I don't sell too many discs but I have many late releases and will be looking to sell some of them. I have aware of the ebay reserve feature and would simply use that versus paying $6 or $15 to cancel a transaction and take the hit in negative feedback. I do put in my auctions that I need 3 days to ship but I did have a personal issue come up that caused me to need extra time.
