I bought SPACE JAM. Low probability [?]

Space Jam (1996) [16400]

Price was £3.79 so that can't be all too bad going. Its not rated high on imdb with 5.9 but I like the look of the cosmic cover. It might be a dumb film, but I need a dumb film to watch every once in a while.

It should be jamming here in Dolby AC-3 next week.

Watched in movies I was like 14. It was fun. Michael Jordan is in it. I think its worth it at least for that.

Oh, so you also have this on Laserdisc?

I've been watching clips and listening to some music from the film on youtube for over an hour. It looks funny with Loony Toon cartoon characters facing the alien monsters.

Just recorded it in HD last week off HBO, never seen it before. If I remember it wasn't a big hit but it might be worth a watch.

This was one of my first DVDs and I remember rewatching it every night for at least a month. It was a dual-sided disc, one side had English, French, German and Spanish soundtrack while the other had all kinds of dubs (including Swedish)... Great memories, bad film.

Arrived this morning and played late this evening.

Dolby AC-3 packed a slam! Plenty of active use and sound effects and some dialouge panning now and then while principle actors dialouge remained clearly focused. Music kicked in nicely on side 2 with basket ball scenes.

Colour was nice for the transfer with nice whites and blacks.

I don't get the 'car-rot' joke Andrew.

Oh, wait.... Nevermind.
