The Hong Kong release is Pan & Scan according the database, so unless you're okay with that I'd say you probably did.

I changed my mind. I had a feeling it was going to end around $100, I didn't feel like spending that much on a P&S title since I already own the US released disc. I am the type that like to watch. Someone who likes to collect deserve it more than I do .

Hm... I just bought something from this seller (not The Matrix tho).
I hope he will wrap up my disc a bit more carefully.
Did you file a PayPal complaint, and did you get your money back?

The seller refunded my money. It took some time (about 2 weeks) I remember getting worried after some time about it....
He wasn't happy when I opened a complaint trough paypal. Received some mails from him explaining he didn't care about what paypal would decide. He claimed to resolve these issues himself. He did eventually . It was a mint sealed 'Happy Gilmore dts" Not a great title but it was one of those dts discs I didn't own at the time. Bought it cheap from him but that makes no difference for packing an item IMHO
In the end I closed the case with paypal and we both gave a positive feedback. I don't want neg. feedback in my ebay account anyway for a small amount of money.
It was packed in a very thin envelope "thing". it was destined to break during transit.
This was the only time in all these years I had a package getting destroyed.

I feel the same about it. It wouldn't get out of the closset anyway. Own the US pressing that is so unbelievable "rare"

I can see why someone likes the artwork but that's about it for me.

I have bought from that seller quite a few times the past years. Most all of his items are drop shipped from their Hong Kong supplier source. (eveything I have bought so far was) and my items were packed the same way as other Hong Kong sellers do. The "large bubbles" type bubble wrap around the discs and then cardboard taped on top and bottom and around the sides to make the package.

So the best way I usually get 2 ld to give the package more stability even if you buy a cheap one just as a package filler, and I never had any problems that way. He does get some rare items too.
