Who has this release http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIfSci3h ... re=related ? and where can I get it?
If not what release do you have and how many copies? It is a staple of collections isn't it?

I have the following:

Jurassic Park
Making of Jurassic Park, The (1995) [41836]
Jurassic Park (1993) [41830]
Jurassic Park (1993) [43115]
Jurassic Park (1993) [41829]

Lost World
Lost World, The: Jurassic Park (1997) [43310]
hopefully win a DTS one but not counting on it.

I was at a hotel over the weekend just outside Dublin and I noticed the fat guy called Dennis (real name Wayne Knight) who starred in Jurassic Park was sitting a few tables away having his breakfast!

I'd have started excitedly shouting "Dobson! Dobson! Dobson is here!"

I'd would then no doubt be quickly escorted off the premises...

I assume the video and that link are the same thing since the US doesn't seem to have the fossil edition or at least from what I have seen.

Should be getting Lost World, The: Jurassic Park (1997) [43366] pretty soon. supposedly its in the mail so I can't wait for it to get here.

so now I should have DTS for both movies:)

That fossil box set does look nice.

While on the subject, I know about the DTS sound, but do all the picture transfers (domestic, anyway) including the later AC-3 version all look the same?

Best regards!

I have the fossil edition and the normal edition as I prefer the artwork on that, as well as the lost world sequel....it's closer to the cinema poster. Funnily enough there is enough room in the boxset for the disc from the normal edition. Picture and sound are ace, much better than the normal CLV version. Didn't know it was so rare......

You mean the PAL fossil edition is better than the NTSC CLV version in terms of the transfer?

Oh yes.....I used to have the pal clv version and the ntsc clv version, and even tho the pals are sped up by 4%, the quality is much better. The only small grip, which isn't a problem, is that the transfer has a little edge enhancement more than others, which means I have to turn on the DNR on the tele to combat and then turn off afterwards....no biggie, but looks and sounds great. I got rid of the others, but kept the PAL release cover art, as it closer resembles the Cinema Poster.....it was the first première I had been to so it holds a special place in my heart, for many other reasons as well.x
