The script was like 5 pages and this movie was a non stop action movie the type of action that after a while its losing its sense and becomes a colase of pretty sequences blended all together.ofcourse the production value is top and warner brothers gave hundreds of millions for this.director george miller chose to go the "wow" way than making a more backbone action movie explaining the causes of this chaos.anyway it remind me of blade 2.after seen blade i was expecting a pretty good action movie and blade 2 was only about 500 ways to kill a half vampire.boring...

I've seen it three times all in standard view. The last time was a compromise in 2D because it was the only time my wife and I had time to see it together. 3D was no longer showing. She's a 3D lover back from the preteen days of Metalstorm, and all the revivals of blue/red that pop up at "art houses." Well, she got her huge bucket of popcorn but sadly no glasses for her this time.

I enjoyed it thoroughly on a visceral level. The cultural elements are always interesting in these films and I do enjoy the goofy elements of oddball civilizations that are presented. My overwhelming thought however is how few of these films have been made. I think the franchise would have done extremely well as a huge body of work comprised of many films. It would be great to see snapshots of this world from random points of time, in no particular order, kind of like how the Conan stories were written.

Timewise, noticing the hint of the toy music grinder, it seems to fall between Mad Max and Road Warrior.
