The dream sequence when Tracy Ballard dreams of The Gunslinger. The house looks a lot like to the house used in Commando (1985) by Arius (Dan Hedaya) thou the camera angles in Futureworld are cut very fast and tight I can make out the Staircase and curved window frames even thou a shot in Commando where Arius, is shot and falls though a window on inside that looks like a break-away window for the stuntman on the outside shot that shows the curved windows at the top that seem to match the ones in Futureword where the The Gunslinger, walks down the curved staircase with curved window frames in view for a few seconds.

Also another shot where Matrix shoots at Arius, at ground floor level at all the windows the area seems to match a shot where Tracy Ballard, runs past the windows from inside the house and the windows seem to match from 1976 to about 1985.

After looking around for filming locations the best one that seems to have 90% is Harold Lloyd's Greenacres Estate.

The windows seem to match the ones in Commando and the green colour as well even the patio tiles match.

The staircase railing seems to match Futueworld thou darkly lit and camera angle is different the curved staircase seems to match but maybe in another part of the house/estate.

Looks like a match to me. Great work. :clap:

A few years back I noticed that Futureworld re-used some set pieces from Logan's Run. I posted my findings on this Logan's Run forum page (scroll down to see the pics):

BTW, the Futureworld hotel room in which Fonda and Danner's characters stay, is an actual home in the Houston area. It went up for sale about 10 years ago and the real estate listing actually mentioned the fact that Futureworld was partially filmed inside the home.

Also of note: A 1977 made for TV movie Red Alert filmed at NASA's Johnson Space Center very shortly after Futureworld finished filming there. You can view Red Alert on YouTube: https://youtu.be/T1q05hNtxnc

Futureworld and Red Alert both made extensive use of the large NASA chamber door which is still in use today:

nems,

Touché well sported on Logan's Run. :clap: I would guessed the sets dismantled and thrown away after the film. Guess they have store warehouse for some set pieces to be used again with some re-dressing.

The decompressing chamber scene used as zero G or launch platform for the rocket scene I thought that was well done bit of matt-painting with rocket inside the chamber for a low budget film.

I thought it was a set. That was filmed at Florida the hotel room, wow.

What about the underground tunnels where was that filmed?

I don't know for sure, but am guessing that the underground stuff (and some ground floor) was filmed at the Hyperion sewage treatment plant in El Segundo (near the Los Angeles Airport). This is the same site used in Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Soylent Green, Logan's Run, The China Syndrome etc.

Pic of the Hyperion ground floor, which looks like some of the Futureworld scenes to me:

The Hyperion plant also looks like it is used in the final scenes of Blacula. Here are some clips on YouTube;
