Times Square (1980) [K88L-5024]

Anyone know how the picture quality is on this LD and how it compares to the DVD?

Any way to tell if it is widescreen based on the cover? (viewable here: http://www.thecurerecords.com/record.aspx?id=5631

I have this on laserdisc. Some of the K88L series are prone to rot.
From memory I think I had to send my first copy back and eventually get a replacement.
The same happened a few others from this series.

Picture is very grainy so nothing to write home about.
