Hello all

Just got into Laserdisc and collecting.

My friend gave me DarkStar but i cant find anything on the LD version.

Anyone have any clues on worth and if any more versions were ever done?

Help and info much appreciated!

I can't help much. I have Darkstar on VHS tape and DVD. I never thought to look for it on LD.

Same. I had it on VHS back in the day. Never occurred to me that it'd be on laserdisc. One sold on ebay a bit ago for $14 if that helps any on worth.

From what I remember, Darkstar was a college film project(?) directed by John Carpenter (Halloween) and Dan O'Bannon (Alien).

The movie was my first VHS tape that I bought back in the 80's. It has been a while since I last watched it; but, it is still a hoot.

Cult favorite here as well. The bomb that tries to decided on blowing up after being given an abort.

Only have Dark Star, recorded off-air 2 years ago with re-mix stereo but not sure much of the mix is original from its mono mix? Wasn't aware there was a LD pressing.

An old favourite - the bomb tends to turn up occasionally when I'm running SF role playing games. Never knew there was a laserdisc.
