I watch Exorcist part I in movie theater maybe almost 20 years ago. It was very disturbing at the time and was uncut version. Only one show in middle of night.
Maybe spell is gone now, other good ones?

The original "The Haunting" and "The Unforgiven" (1941) are both very effective atmospheric chillers.

"The Legend of Hell House" is also very good except for the goofy machine at the end of the movie.

Yeah, I tend to like the Dawn of the Dead box sets--the US released Elite Box Set and the Japanese released Perfect Collection. The US release is in the 1.85:1 OAR while the Japanese release is open matte with some pretty cool exclusive extras in both sets.

Hellraiser is another I like. Decent transfer--been trying to get my hands on the box set.

The Encore Editions of The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Revenge of the Creature and The Creature Walks Among Us Double Feature Set. Always loved the Gillman movies ever since my Dad took me to a 3-D revival showing of the first movie when I was 5. Then just a few years later a local UHF channel had a promotion showing Revenge in 3-D as well! I remember you had to go to a 7-11 Convenience store to get your 3-D glasses.

Suspiria: Spectral Collection--nice box set featuring Dario Argento's Suspiria and Deep Red. Unfortunately, this version of DR is in Italian with Japanese subtitles and the sound is in mono for both movies. Don't really know why since the US released LD of Suspiria is in stereo.
