Looks like we are some way off persuading a company to commence production of laserdiscs right now with a current max of 4 orders per title so far I'm with you though - I'd happily pay $200 for any disc so we can turn this dream into a reality!

As for titles I would like: (Not per se all 2000+ for me, I would like some old titles they missed back than aswel)
1. Eyes Wide Shut (To complete my Kubrick Collection) 2/3. Ghosts of Mars & The Ward (To complete my Carpenter Collection) 4. Moulin Rouge! 5. Tree of Life 6. Requiem for a Dream 7. Baby Snakes (1978) 8. Kill Bill Box 9. Alligator (1980) 10. Death Ship (1980)
Of course all squeezed laserdiscs Special Sditions. I was a ghost/zombie in Ghosts Of Mars and yet, I still haven't seen that film. They paid us $50 a night plus food and we filmed out on one of the reservations in New Mexico. It was fun, but John Carpenter didn't seem to be having fun... More like he was embarrassed to be making the film... It was weird.

Just saw this thread and it reminds me of something I created some time ago. I was a little bored so I made various LD box covers just for fun to see what it would look like if those movies would've been released on LaserDisc. Still found those images so here they are: Appleseed: Hellboy II: LOTR (with a touch of Criterion): SAW: Hm, maybe I can do some more of those. I think creating boxes for stuff like Avatar or BSG would be lots of fun....

I'll just embed one image and link to the rest, I don't wanna take up too much space Compared to the Last Crusade LD: http://stayornay.com/ld/indy4/Indy-4-ld-compare-web.jpgFlat version of the cover: http://stayornay.com/ld/indy4/indy-4-cover-flat.jpgIt was quite fun to do, but tough. I scanned some logos & elements and made vector versions out of them. When I was done with the flat cover I then edited it onto the photo. It's not perfect (the reflection was hell), but it's quite fun! Hah, that is pretty awesome!

Real nice work with the pictures I´d buy all this Blue Underground/ Anchor Bay stuff they release these days and the remakes of those wonderful 80s horrormovies like Last house, Mothers Day...

Ooookaaayyyy... took samples of some of the titles you mentioned here. Had lots of fun creating those little fictitious boxes so I hope you enjoy it: Avatar The Dark Knight Gladiator Inception Pan's Labyrinth ...and a second version of Pan's Labyrinth (I loved the picture so I just had to do this)

Just received the japanese "THE HUNGER" Boxset, very nicely done, very heavy..I can really imagine a movie like GLADIATOR to be released in this format. I especially liked the Pans Labyrinth Artwork...well, I wonder how Laserdiscs would look like, when they´d be remastered with modern technology. Does anyone think the picture quality could be improved ?
