King Solomon's Mines (1985) [SF078-5138]

Not a peep of it on ebay? Expect for the (Deborah Kerr) version and not even the panned and scanned '85 versions. Sooner go for the 2351 pressing. Yeah a guilty pleasure this one is. After all its got Sharon Stone it. :P

Might as well add this one as well. Not a peep of this on ebay. It on DVD like, King Solomon's Mines is. Allan-Quatermain also on bluray. But the LD package looks nice.

I have both of them on laser - bought them a very long time ago on ebay so I don't know about rarity - I don't remember paying much for either of them though.

On a related note both versions of She (1935 and 1965) on laser are also worth looking at - they are also based on a H. Rider Haggard novel.

The 1965 She is probably the most handsomely produced of the lot while the 1950 King Solomon's Mines is the best overall IMHO.

Sad to say, but I am a technological neanderthal - I don't even have a camera (or cell phone) to take pictures.
