Good day Guys, The excitement with opening a sealed Laserdisc is amazing. Yes it is the smell of the disc and packaging that is alluring with a deep sense of inner joy, and like firehorse mentioned without a scratch one is guaranteed. The only concern is if it's cracked or a rotter: of which I have had around 6 titles; 1) THE EAGLES DTS HELL FREEZES OVER SEALED (SOUND ON SIDE B KEPT POPPING.) 2) BAMBI ANNIVERSARY (BROKEN DISC FOUND WHEN OPENING) I EXCHANGED THIS FOR SOMETHING ELSE. 3) STAR SHIP TROOPERS (SEVERE ROTTER US VERSION UNWATCHABLE) 4) CABLE GUY (UNWATCHABLE) 5) JIM CARRY PET DETECTIVE (A TRUE ROTTER ON PICTURE AND SOUND) 6) HARRISON FORD THE FUGITIVE (ABSOLUTE ROTTER) 7) SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION US VERSION (NO PICTURE OR SOUND) PURCHASED THE JAPANESE VERSION PERFECT. I will always go for a sealed item thou as there is nothing quite like it, and am still waiting to receive my next reserved LD shipment of approximately 20 titles and over half of these are Sealed including THE SIXTH DAY. I shall look forward to this very much. Kind Regards to everyone
