Hello,

Could you comment the strange issue that I have found on LD - Willow (ref -79356) ?

I can not watch 2nd side of this LD as the LD player indicate that it plays 2nd side but factually it plays the same part of movie that is on the 1st side.

I have checked it with 2 LD players (cld97, dvl919e).

There is not information about this issue about this LD in LDDB database.

Regards,

Dmitriy

Are the stamper numbers (the marks "recorded" on the disc near the inner edge) the same on both sides? In this case, very likely it is a simple manufacturing error, in which two identical sides (A and A) were assembled together instead of two different (A and B), but the normal labels were applied. Yours is probably the only such copy to exist.

Yes, there are the same stamps on the both sides - LDVS-002792-A-A5.

Is this Ld a highly collectable megarare item or trash? :)))

If I were you I'd hold on to it. Or, then again, if I were you I'd send it to me. Wait. Is that even possible?

STAY AWESOME! :P

Sorry, I have returned this LD to the owner (person in Moscow).

If you still need it I may inform that person about you interest.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. I already own a copy of this release, but it has such a bad rep that I haven't bothered taking the discs out of the jacket yet. I will have to get a copy of the Japanese release though. Better rep and wonderfull jacket cover.
