Most of the stuff on my wishlist are my prized "holy grails" if you will.

I suppose it would also be worth adding a copy of Tokyo Raiders to the collection as it's the last ever laserdisc. Now just have to fnd it? Anyone got a copy here?

i've already got a lot of holy grails in my collection, from the World is not Enough to American Beauty to the Sixth Day... but if you're asking what i'm really still looking for is:

End of Days

Some things to really treasure are both of the squeezed T2's, these ones are also real treasures in my opinion.
I just love these gatefold artworks... who doesn't ;)

End of Days can be found, it's often on ebay for $300.
Les Rivières Pourpres will be more complicated to find... and the 2 known LDDB copies are in Switzerland right now :-P

As I am a huge fan of both...

All of classic STAR TREK, of which I have a few and growing.

All that was available of BABYLON 5, again of which I have a few and growing.

I have not seen it but I would bet that my avatar, THUNDERBIRDS looks amazing on LD, I would love them too.

And anything BATMAN and SUPERMAN related (but specially BATMAN  )

I've been looking for the Discovision release of The Hindenburg for ever! In the 4 years I've been looking, I've never even seen it on eBay. There are also a few silent films that were released only in Japan that seem to be hiding from me. The problem with any holy grail is that as soon as you find it, you have new grail to search for.

For a long time it was Survivor - Live in Japan from (1985) when they were promoting their classic Vital Signs album. That is still one of my all time favourite laserdiscs but a close second would be Durutti Column: Domo Arigato - Live in Tokyo (1985) or perhaps the little Japanese 8" of John Waite: Missing You (1985). 1985 was a vintage year it seems!

It's hard to say, since I have most of my "most wanted" anime discs. Possible War at Sea from Hawaii to Malaya, which was the first production with special effects by Eiji Tsurabaya — including a recreation of the Pearl Harbour attack so realistic that American authorities initially thought a captured copy was actual footage from the attacking planes.

Mine is the Limey too. Stamp is underated and underutilised (he was wasted in Star Wars: Episode 1). Also my DVD copy of the Limey just doesn't cut it.

This is how I tend to think of holy grails type purchases, things that are imprtant to me as a fan of films, more than the actual worth or the re-sale value. I picked up some recenty and just got another one this morning, sealed and brand new actually....
