Good Morning Audioboyz1973, A cherished day indeed kind Sir, Star Gate SQZ was perfect......... worth the wait and brought back the experience of purchasing every Laserdisc I own. Thank you for your reply Friend as this is always a pleasure. The patience encountered along the AV pastime journey has been one of endurance in many ways seen and within. Kind Regards

Spinning late night Escape from New York: Collector's Edition (1981) [ID2330SU]White knuckled cult sci-fi/thriller. Original Dolby Stereo mix way better than the DVD. The little final fight between Snake and "the Duke" chapter 28, 31.59 where Snake grabs the gun from, the Duke, and throws it away below the framing has no sound to it. I should be hearing a metal like clanging sound on dusty gravel ground.

Blue Planet (1990) [LVD9214]Two track versions to chose from. PCM - sound effects and music Analog - dialouge music and sound effects The dynamic range is nice, thunderclaps are felt space shuttle launch thunders and roars skywards. Atmospheric sounds are crisp clear. The hurricane storm effects on side 1, sounded fairly acoustically realistic.

This is the most film like version to own I think. The cover composition is the worst I've seen however. Even the unicorn BD cover is preferable!
