I bought my laserdisc player with a bunch of movies and for some reason I picked For Love Or Money as the first laserdisc to watch.
What was the first laserdisc you put in that big tray?

The first laserdisc I ever bought shortly after getting my LD-V2200, but my brother dropped it and cracked the second disc.

At a Radio Shack in Chicago, they were demo-ing a LaserActive with Pyramid Patrol. I was wowed by the clarity and colorfulness of the video.

I am not sure if it was the first I ever watched, but the first I ever REMEMBER watching as a kid when my aunt had her sweet home theater set up - with a CLD-D701 fed into a CRT projector - was The Little Rascals movie.

It was either Ab Fab at a friends house or something at school.

As for when I bought my CLD-980 finally in 2005/6 I have no idea idea but I bought the Evangelion movie boxset and Golden Boy volume 1 around the same time as each other but got the player a little later.

Picture Music - followed by the Road Warrior - they were the first two discs I bought when we bought our first player (a LD-660) back in 1982.

It must have been: Europe: Europe in America (1987) [080 370-1]

The big brother of a friend had a PAL LD Player home with a few discs.

Atlantic City late last year when I bought my CLD-925. I'm using a Elite CLD-59 now however as the 925 just keeps giving me problems. It still works, and thankfully it can still read my PAL discs, but a lot of NTSC discs on it don't work.

Lion King was my very first attempt last spring (2012), after fiddling and modifying an uk power plug into an euro plug I got it to work!

this, on my first ever functional LDP, a short-lived 1990 CLD-1080;

http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/23167/MJ0 ... %281980%29

weird, Avant-Guarde Jazz-type material. only reason it has stuck out in my mind is because of the PIONEER LASER DISC opening bumper,
which i had found then, and still find singularly nifty;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation ... dKgsIXWY1Q

- and i claim my CLD-1080 as "short lived" since it took a very fatal trip down my grandma's nasty-ass shallow staircase
leading to her front door when i stumbled at the top when hauling stuff out to the car for my trip home. this must have been around 2007 or so at latest...

First one I bought was Last Action Hero that I sold 13 years ago for the DVD for Dolby 5.1. Enjoyed the Laserdisc at the time and was trying to enhance the film impact by fitting speakers under the sofa so when

Can't remember all the store demos with those big shiny silver discs, but upon getting my first player and discs in college it was the Connery Collection Vol. 1 which brought back the Bond films of my childhood to their pre-2006 scrubbing.
