This disc keeps popping up on eBay but at outrageous prices IMO (40-50USD) but I finally got a decent deal.

Now if I can just find this mystery R5 DVD which is rumored to be both uncut and anamorphic.
It is like Bigfoot; everyone talks about it but I have yet to see one anywhere...

It's not a bad movie I enjoyed it and hope you do to.

I think I paid around £40 for mine when it was still available to purchase brand new, and some DTS Titles were selling for £60 in their day.

I remember paying a small fortune for each title and I don't regret it at all.

I finally purchased my first squeezed LD today. The Fugitive US release. I have the letterboxed version which I already like. The delivery will be in the next week or so.

There's a local guy that has all 4 squeeze discs listed on Craigslist- $85 a pop, more than I wanted to go for them

I paid $35 shipped for my sealed copy of The Fugitive. I really would like to own Star Gate and T2 squeezed editions. But I can't afford $200+ per disc for now. Once I graduate and get a better paying job, I can probably do 1 expensive titles per month or something.

For now I am working on completing the essentials for my HT setup. I desperately need a pair of high current or tube mono amps to power my Martin Logan CLS II electrostats.

Not sure what release this guy is talking about but he does not seem to like Van Damme.
Either way the cuts and alternate angles are on moviecensorship if anyone is interested and I still can't find the elusive R5 DVD.
If there are any Van Damme or Woo fans out there who can get me a better version of this film let me know...

The Japanese release is 3 minutes longer than the US version and those 3 minutes are all extra violence that was cut for ratings versions. Doesn't seem like much but it really brings the finale to an amazingly over-the-top level.

Nice find!,this is a good movie! I am also looking for that one in DTS,but prices are going up en down- vice versa!

The R5 DVD is this slightly longer cut also and is anamorphic; myself and my friends have been looking for a copy forever but no joy.
There is also rumored to have been a longer cut (somewhere between the 100 and 120min. mark) but who knows if this material exists anymore .

IMO all the older Woo films (HK) need to be remastered but who is willing to put in the time and money?
