hey guys. it just so happened that i got to see some pretty swell things as a young boy in the late-80's/early-90's, thanks to the relative dorkiness of my parents. thought i'd go ahead and share some of it; me and my mom, at a George Takei autograph signing, 01/28/1990;   me and Patrick Stewart, 01/06/1991; (excuse my weird face, i do believe i was ill at the time)    William Shatner, 07/22/1991; (Alas, i couldn't be there, as mom only just had admission fee for herself at the time)

though there are things i am far more passionate about today, -such as Anime and Vintage/semi-vintage A/V- my mom did indeed instill the Trekkie in me from a tender young age, and it is still very much there...

Great stuff. I love it. I’m watching Next Gen on Netflix lately so this is very much stuff on my mind at the moment. Make sure to pass your love of Trek onto the someone younger than yourself. It’s never the most popular thing at any given moment but it frequently is the most memorable. |
