Amadeus would also be one of my absolute favourites.

Well, this one *is* based on a true story.

Which makes Psycho or Silence of the Lambs also "based" on a true story.

Julien

Apollo 13 is my favorite that I have on LD that's based on a true story... but damn, it's a horrible transfer. HD-DVD had been my go-to for actually watching it, but I just picked up the BD on sale and it's slightly better. Braveheart is probably my second favorite, and it's actually watchable... Memphis Belle is a close third. The Right Stuff would be up there, but my copy is P&S and Analog Stereo only... I've only actually hooked up Analog cables once to watch it, and it's literally my only disc that P&S or Analog Stereo only.

We gotta include Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The: Collector's Edition (1974) [EE0123] as well then, along with Henry: Portrait of A Serial Killer (1986). (Uncut) [CLV3108]

Both great films in their own right, I actually watched Texas Chainsaw for the first time last year, and I was surprised with how much it actually got to me, I thought for sure I'd be desensitized to it having seen the amount of horror movies I have.
