im gonna concentrate on tv shows this year ima try and find the japanese releases of battlestar galactica, get all the babylon 5 discs(ill just have to deal with only having half the series) and ill probably pick up a few quantum leap LD's.

Well I bought a sealed Japan Squeeze disc today I've been hunting and saving for.... so right now, I'm gonna sit for a bit and watch and enjoy what others are buying......which is also cheaper lol

EVERYTHING. Every single disc I can afford

Couple of german ones (Bay of Blood on Mike Hunter, all the CMV releases), few last bits from the top of my japanese want list (Class of 1984, Humongous and Escape From Galaxy 3 to mention some), more Hammers plus all the other interesting picks whenever the opportunity knocks.

Primarily, my goal is to collect all the Bond films in letterbox+the three Criterions, THX discs, Goldfinger box, Casino Royale '67, Never Say Never Again,
but I'll end up grabbing whatever LD is cheap enough.

Not so much a plan on getting, as a continued search for certain titles.

Trying to get more of shlock director, Fred Olen Ray's stuff on LD (especially a lot of them aren't on DVD.)

Hopefully the late Japanese release of The Beach, as it is the only one of the late Japanese releases I don't have that I think is worth having. Also, anything I can get my hands on from the "lesser Asian markets" (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, China), especially anything not listed here. These are the titles with which I can most contribute to the continued growth of LDDb, and I am sure that there are still many undiscovered treasures waiting out there for me! Another shipment should be coming soon! They will hopefully be appearing here in the very near future! Until then, the search continues!

To be honest, I mainly plan on collecting anime discs this year, mainly Studio Ghibli features. I've already picked up Fight Club and Tarzan his year, so big titles on my list are dwindling

I've got the Thunderball THX set and it certainly is much better mastered than the 89 or Connery Collection versions.

$299 approx converted into UK sterling is around £200 approx.

I must be crazy but the trust I have with the seller, and the fact that he has kept hold of these titles for myself for 4yrs.

I do not mind paying the price knowing that I will have these disc's and in the best condition.

This order will be the last major expence on Laserdisc's, and I suppose iv'e kept the best Until last.

I know some of these titles come up on Ebay at times, and a lot cheaper but, the seller has been very patient and I do not paying the price.

The Sixth Day new unopened would now sell for around, or up to $1500, but I am getting this for $456 = approx £320.

It will be a great day when they arrive.

I watch every penny on everything else and sacrifice a lot to get the things I want, so this extravagance is exceptable.

blue sub is awesome, I'd love to have that on LD as well as Berserk, to great animes hard to get on LD because they were so close to the end of LDs life

I didn't plan on resuming collecting Star Wars sets, but I just picked up the Definitive Collector's Set for 33 bucks, so now I must continue my quest and acquire both the Japanese Collector's set and the 2000 repressing of the Star Wars Trilogy to top off my collection

There are still plenty of things I want for my anime library, although I'm going to try to be more assiduous about selling off or trading duplicates. I have plenty that aren't yet listed in my LDDb Shop, for one reason or another.
