I have this OLD USB Audio Card (Creative Labs Sound Blaster MP3+) that has optical input and output.

For music videos captures from LD I would capture the video and audio separately (because my video capture software wouldn't recognize the Creative card as a capture device) and resync them when finalizing the video.

I might try to see if Virtual Dub recognizes it now that I've built a new desktop with a beefy CPU.
